Observations

Non-Professional Status Teachers
A teacher who does not have  Professional Teaching Status (Non-PTS) shall have at least four unannounced observations, no more than two per marking period, during the school year.

Professional Status Teachers
Any educator on a two year self-directed plan shall have at least one unannounced observation.  Nothing shall preclude the Educator and Evaluator from mutually agreeing to and scheduling an announced observation.

We will be focusing on these "Great 8" elements of the Model Teacher Rubric for the foreseeable future. Criteria within the indicators will incorporate the CRIOP (Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices).
